Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor for its Milpitas, CA facility. The role directs manufacturing operations on a shift or group of lines to achieve volume, quality, and cost objectives.

Shift hours are 6 am to 2 pm PST, Monday through Friday, with responsibility for leading and coaching a team and coordinating with engineers and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in operations, strong analytical and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 3+ years of operations experience.
• Knowledge of Flex policies, procedures, and functional standards.
• Ability to read and interpret general business and technical documents; strong communication skills.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of multiple processes/lines to meet volume, quality and cost goals.
• Evaluate plant performance and advise on operating changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead a team of professionals to meet delivery requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach operators.
• Collaborate with engineers on plant improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Provide technical and operational advice to project teams.
• Coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Assist in budget planning and control of department expenses.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment and comply with policies.
• Ensure compliance to manufacturing standards.
