Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams and ensure safe, efficient operation of manufacturing processes. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while maintaining accurate production records and workforce accountability.

The role requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred, and a solid understanding of ISO methodology.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• General understanding of ISO methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
• Lead and develop a team of production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure safe operations by promoting and enforcing environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor production performance and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Quickly identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain customer commitments.
• Support quality initiatives by ensuring products meet specifications and company standards.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve plant objectives.
