Job summary

Allied Reliability in Sherman, TX is seeking a Shift Supervisor to coordinate manufacturing processes and lead the shift team to achieve safety, production, quality, and cost objectives.

You will provide leadership and organize the manufacturing team, conduct pre-shift meetings, assign tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to standards. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving, with flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift meetings to discuss Safety, Quality, Productivity, Schedule, and Cost issues.
• Assign personnel to appropriate tasks and equipment for the shift.
• Order all supplies and materials to execute the schedule for the current and following shifts.
• Troubleshoot machine problems with Shift Maintenance Technician.
• Escalate issues such as injuries, equipment problems, color problems, or personnel problems as appropriate to other company management resources.
• Ensure that the entire production team meets all quality and production standards, minimizing scrap and downtime.
• Coordinate all safety and quality training using the online systems.
• Coordinate all hearing tests for production team.
• Perform all performance management activities including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
