Job summary

TRIDENT SOLUTIONS is seeking an Extrusion Lead in Sherman, TX for a 12-hour rotating shift. The role leads the Extrusion department, maintaining safety, quality, and production standards while actively operating equipment and supporting the team.

You will mentor operators, coordinate material changes, and ensure timely quality reporting. Strong troubleshooting and leadership are essential for success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Serve as the shift lead for the Extrusion department and own accountability for safety, quality and production.
Operate extrusion equipment as a working team member and cover operator breaks.
Set up, run, and troubleshoot extrusion equipment and escalate complex issues.
Monitor melt quality and dimensional specs, directing operators to correct defects.
Ensure operators perform quality checks and report results promptly.
Coordinate material/color changeovers to minimize downtime.
Lead and mentor operators using established training curriculum.
Communicate priorities to the team and coordinate with Material Handlers.
