Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Production Supervisor at our Plywood facility in Prosperity, SC. You will lead a production team to operate safely and efficiently in a continuous manufacturing environment, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing or military settings, proficiency with MS Office, and flexibility to work various shifts. CMMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing or military environment.
• Must have a solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn PC-based production reporting systems.
• Must be able and willing to work flexible work schedules and department changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team of 20 to 30 members.
• Supervise/coordinate production efforts to drive improvement in EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
• Promote safety through employee involvement and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards.
• Monitor product quality and direct crew to maximize efficiency.
• Assist with troubleshooting and solving production issues.
• Work in a manufacturing plant environment, including noisy and non-climate-controlled areas.
