Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Plywood facility in Prosperity, SC. You will lead a team of Millwrights, ensure PM programs are followed, and drive reliability and continuous improvement across critical equipment.

In this role you will prioritize work, schedule planned maintenance, review work orders, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards while collaborating with the Maintenance Manager and plant leadership to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience with preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience with parts inventory management and controls.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and approves work requests to determine an emergency need or plan future work.
• Ensures resources for each planned job and controls quality through completion.
• Ensures all work orders have valid approvals.
• Upholds housekeeping and safe work practices in shop and on job sites.
• Coordinates Millwright on-call rotation and maintains on-call list.
• Supports area management meetings and work-order prioritization.
