Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Plywood facility in Prosperity, SC. You will lead a team of Millwrights to ensure reliability, plan maintenance, and drive standard procedures.

The role partners with the Maintenance Manager to manage safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in preventative/predictive maintenance, inventory controls, and CMMS/SAP experience, plus a supervisory background in manufacturing.

Qualifications

Three years or more of preventative and predictive maintenance experience.
Experience managing parts inventory and controls.
Experience with a computerized maintenance management system or SAP.

Responsibilities

Monitors and approves work requests to determine if an emergency response is needed or directs the creation of a future work order.
Ensures resources for each planned and scheduled job, and controls execution and quality through completion.
Ensures all work has a valid work order with required approvals.
Maintains safe housekeeping and practices; leads safety awareness meetings.
Works with Maintenance Manager on on-call rotation and coordinates Millwright on-call list.
Runs Area Management Team meetings and participates in work order prioritization.
