Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Production Supervisor for 1st shift in Coal City, IL. The role oversees the entire shift, drives safety, quality, and productivity, and guides Lean improvements across lines and teams.

Required are 2+ years in manufacturing with prior supervisory experience, plus OSHA, CPIM, and CMS are a bonus. On-site position with a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• OSHA Safety certification, CPIM and CMS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety first culture and injury-free workplace.
• Set daily goals before shift start.
• Perform audits of production work and monitor productivity/quality.
• Investigate and correct product quality exceptions.
• Lead Daily Toolbox Talks and train team members.
• Develop systems and processes for continuous improvement and Lean projects.
