Job summary

Pregis LLC in Illinois is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead a manufacturing team, ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance of staff, with 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities include monitoring production flow, solving problems, maintaining documentation, and communicating objectives to the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ experience with a minimum 3 years’ experience working in a supervisory position.
• Strong background in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required, with some knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drive company to achieve goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating flow of production.
• Effectively manage labor to meet plant labor productivity & cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence
• Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them to employees to ensure alignment
• Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
