Job summary

Prysmian Group in Indiana seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee one or more manufacturing areas on a shift, ensuring safe, efficient production that meets schedules and quality standards.

The role entails directing hourly associates, coordinating with other departments, planning work, ensuring materials and training are available, and monitoring performance and safety. Requires a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related) and Lean training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; engineering or related degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma or lean manufacturing training preferred.
• Efficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision over hourly associates and coordination with other departments.
• Plan work and production for the shift using process knowledge.
• Ensure materials, instructions, machine availability, and training are in place.
• Monitor safety practices, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Evaluate process and worker performance and provide recommendations.
• Maintain attendance, absence, and overtime records.
• Ensure manpower, materials and equipment enable high-quality production.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the Manufacturing Manager.
