Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a strong customer orientation.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring schedules; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Maintain staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees, and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; developing reporting procedures and systems; fostering cooperation.
• Spends 50% of time in direct labor in the area of responsibility.
• Identify and anticipate safety and health concerns and hazards by surveying conditions.
• Act as the quality inspector; maintain quality by standards.
• Ensure materials are readily available for production team.
• Encourage production team members by developing personal growth opportunities.
• Provide manufacturing information by analyzing production performance records.
• Accomplish production team results by coaching, training, and ensuring policies are followed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results.
