Job summary

RoyOMartin is seeking a Production Team Leader to supervise daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead, train, and mentor team members while coordinating production activities to meet goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in a leadership role and a high-school diploma. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in our safety-conscious environment.

Job Description:

Production Team Leader is the frontline leader responsible for supervising daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and output standards are met while leading, training, and supporting team members and driving continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the production team supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing safe work practices
  • Providing direction and coordinating activities relating to production
  • Providing leadership to meet/exceed established operational expectations and goals
  • Evaluating manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality
  • Ensuring finished products meet quality standards
  • Performing complex problem solving while championing continuous improvement
  • Training and developing new team members

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach to the safety of themselves and others. They should maintain the highest standards for personal and professional ethics and have the savvy, knowledge, and personality to coach and mentor others with "lead by example" approach. Detail orientation, self-confidence, emotional maturity, and a sense of urgency are also important.

Job Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess high-school diploma or equivalent, stable employment history, and experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency is also required. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
