Job summary

RoyOMartin in Texas is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, maintain and repair industrial machinery in a fast-paced OSB manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial maintenance, a high school diploma, ability to reach heights up to 120 feet, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic carpentry skills.
• Must understand lockout procedures and MSDS usage.
• Able to work at heights up to 120 feet and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and aligns industrial machinery and equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and upgrades as needed.
• Cuts, welds, pipe fits, bearing installs, and repairs potable water/sewer systems and fire systems.

Job Description

Millwright installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs industrial machinery and mechanical equipment; reads blueprints and schematics; aligns, dismantles, and relocates equipment; performs preventive maintenance and repairs; operates lifting and shop tools; collaborates with maintenance and engineering teams; and ensures strict adherence to safety standards to minimize downtime and support efficient operations.

Primary Responsibilities

Following safe work practices and the corporate IBiZ NOW safety policy. Performing maintenance tasks including but not limited to cutting, welding, pipe fitting, bearing installation, potable water system repairs, sewer system repairs, fire system repairs, and facility maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Required skills: Good mechanical aptitude. Basic carpentry skills. Must understand lockout procedures.. How to use Material Safety Data Sheets. Must have an outstanding safety and attendance record. Must maintain good work quality, accuracy, and thoroughness. Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Must be able to work at heights up to 120 feet. Must be willing to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and at other ROM facilities when needed. High School diploma or equivalent.
