Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. is seeking a shift leader to manage daily production activities in Speedway, IN. You will guide the production team, monitor performance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met during a 12-hour shift.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 7+ years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership position. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years related experience; at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must pass essential job function physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area during the shift according to the production plan.
• Set expectations, monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective action to employees; provide training and development for the team.
• Prepare shift turnover reports for the upcoming shift and lead shift start-up meetings.
• Function as a “working Team Leader” by filling voids on the production team as needed.
• Drive performance objectives in delivery, cost, quality, and safety; assist employees in achieving their goals.
• Operate or oversee the operation of technical processes and equipment; escalate repairs and concerns as needed.
