Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Speedway, IN is seeking a Shift Team Leader to oversee the production area during daytime shifts.

You will lead the team, set expectations, monitor performance, provide coaching and training, and prepare shift turnover for the incoming crew. Responsibilities include filling in as needed on the production line, driving delivery, cost, quality, and safety objectives, and ensuring equipment operation and timely maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required and 7-years’ related experience, and at least 3-years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area during the shift according to the production plan.
• Set expectations, monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective action to employees, and provide training and continual development for the team.
• Prepare shift turnover report for oncoming shift and lead shift start up meetings.
• Fill voids on the production team as needed as a “working Team Leader.”
• Drive performance objectives in delivery, cost, quality, and safety, and assist employees in achieving their goals.
• Operate and/or oversee the operation of technical processes and equipment, escalating repairs and concerns.
