Job summary
Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a production area on the night shift, with training on days.
You will drive safety, quality, and delivery across the team, coordinate staffing and equipment, and push Lean initiatives to improve process capability and productivity. The role requires a strong engineering/operational background and multi-shift leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or related field required.
- Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience, with frontline leadership roles.
- Aerospace/defense or precision manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible shop-floor leadership and onboarding, training, and development.
- Lead daily operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity targets.
- Coordinate staffing, overtime, equipment use, and material availability.
- Drive management systems and monitor key metrics, escalating risks as needed.
- Develop recovery plans for performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
