Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Group Leader in Tacoma to supervise a shift, drive safety and efficiency, and communicate daily numbers and priority topics across the plant. You will lead a team, coach staff, and ensure production goals are met while maintaining a strong safety culture.

The role requires safety leadership, strong communication, and a mechanical/technical mindset. Shift work is expected, with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 year technical degree highly desirable.
• Safety leadership and team development skills required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of all team employees under the Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; model safety.
• Lead safety meetings and drive risk assessments within area.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions with timely follow-up.
• Organize and lead teams to address safety, quality, or operational issues.
• Coach and develop employees; participate in performance discussions.
