Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a shift supervisor for a manufacturing facility in the United States. You will supervise employees on the shift, set production goals, inspect machinery, and coordinate with maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires prior team leadership in manufacturing, training staff on forklift and machinery, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manufacturing team on the shop floor.
• Experience on-the-job training for equipment operation including forklift, bobcat, loader, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to traverse elevated catwalks, stairs, and stand long hours.
• Able to work in all environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set production goals and monitor performance against them.
• Visually inspect and test machinery; set up and operate equipment.
• Listen for unusual sounds and coordinate with maintenance to diagnose or repair.
• Operate forklift as directed following safety policies.
• Inspect work in progress and finished products; oversee preventive maintenance.
• Track inventory and parts usage; analyze scorecards and day shift reports.
• Train and discipline staff; ensure safety rules are followed.
