Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a foreman in a production environment or 5 years in a team lead role with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Experience managing 20-25 employees.
• Ability to coordinate a complex workflow across multiple departments.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Strong business acumen with cost control/reduction awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly employees during assigned shift operations.
• Assign manpower and coordinate workflow across departments.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety and PPE requirements.
• Monitor production flow and elevate operational issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance during equipment downtime.
• Support training and onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure quality standards are followed during production.
• Document production performance, downtime, and staffing issues.
• Conduct shift pass down communication and daily prioritization.
• Promote housekeeping and operational discipline.
