Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Prior experience in production/manufacturing required; concrete manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated role model including good attendance and positive attitude.
• Experience leading people is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses.
• Understand and apply basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure.
• Knowledge of computer software.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, reporting issues to management or addressing them directly.
• Enter safety related information into compliance software as directed.
• Execute production schedule as posted and identify gaps or changes needed.
• Fill in by working in production when gaps are noted.
• Ensure employees receive appropriate training (compliance, safety, or technical).
• Package production documents for processing.
• Maintain attendance records and authorize schedules for payroll.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate information to employees as directed by management.
• Communicate with other departments to share information as directed.
• Examine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and meet specifications.
• Maintain open lines of communication between team members and management.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.
