Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Lead to support the Production Supervisor by ensuring that all assignments for the team are carried out safely and on schedule. You will act as a liaison between frontline staff and management to relay critical information.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, coordinating training, and addressing production gaps while maintaining accurate attendance and payroll-related data. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrated role model including good attendance and positive attitude.
• Experience leading people is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses.
• Understand and apply basic math skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Work in plant production environment (indoor/outdoor, noise, dust, hot equipment).
• This job involves walking, climbing stairs/ladders, standing, bending, etc.
• Knowledge of basic tools and their uses.
• Team oriented.
• Understand and apply basic math skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication).
• Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure.
• Knowledge of computer software.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, reporting issues to management.
• Enter safety information into compliance software as directed.
• Execute production schedule and address gaps or changes.
• Fill in by working in production when gaps are noted.
• Ensure employees receive appropriate training (compliance, safety, or technical).
• Package production documents for processing.
• Maintain attendance information and payroll-aligned schedules.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate information to employees as directed.
• Coordinate with other departments to share information as directed.
• Inspect progress and equipment to verify safety and specifications.
• Maintain open lines of communication between team and management.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
