Job summary

Coilmaster Corporation is seeking a production leader to run daily operations on the manufacturing floor. You will own staffing, workflow, problem-solving, and on-the-floor communication to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output.

Responsibilities include leading shifts, coaching staff, monitoring metrics, and coordinating with maintenance, planning, and engineering to remove roadblocks. A minimum of two years in a manufacturing leadership role is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role (lead, supervisor, or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing a team of 5+ employees in a production environment.
• Comfortable using computers—email, ERP transactions, basic reporting, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assign work, set expectations, and adjust staffing to meet schedule demands.
• Monitor production flow, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and labor usage.
• Hold team members accountable to safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards.
• Support, coach, train, and onboard employees—reinforce correct methods and behaviors.
• Verify product meets specifications; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate ERP transactions, production reporting, and daily shift documentation.
• Partner with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and Warehouse to remove roadblocks.
• Enforce 5S, housekeeping, and safe use of tools, machinery, and PPE.
• Lead shift huddles, communicate priorities, and provide feedback up and down the chain.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as needed to support production.
