Job summary

Specialty Resins at Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a process technician to operate plant equipment, monitor control boards, and coordinate with labs and maintenance to produce high-quality products safely and cost-effectively.

You will handle in-house and off-hours material receipt, batch progression monitoring, temperature control, data logging, and routine safety checks, ensuring clean, compliant operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; trade school or two-year college desirable.
• Experience in batch plant operations and solids handling preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment and monitor control board and field indicators to ensure safe, quality production.
• Package, receive materials during off-hours, and coordinate with Lab and Maintenance.
• Maintain batch logs, track reaction steps, and ensure correct dosing and temperatures.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, vibration, and anomalies; report to Shift Supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of batch processing, moisture, and packaging inventories.
