Job summary

Specialty Resins seeks a capable technician to operate plant equipment and manage materials, coordinating with Lab and Maintenance to deliver quality, safe products. You will monitor reactors, controls, and downstream equipment, ensuring batches stay on spec and logs are accurately maintained.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, plus relevant training or experience in batch operations and solids handling. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Trade school or two years college is desirable.
• Chemical Process Technician course or process operator experience.
• Experience in batch plant operations and solids handling desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment from the board and in the field.
• Package and receive materials in off-hours.
• Coordinate with Lab and Maintenance for quality production.
• Monitor control board and indicators to ensure safe, controlled operation.
• Maintain batch logs and process records.
• Attend safety trainings and use PPE as required.
• Report abnormal conditions to Shift Supervisor and document upsets.
