Sealed Air is seeking a Team Performance Lead for the Romeoville site. You will manage daily shift operations, align production priorities with management, and ensure orders are processed with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement and team performance tracking. You will coach team members, lead Tier 1 meetings, and support Lean initiatives while maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be well organized, and be a team player.
• Computer knowledge (SAP, Excel, Word)
• Demonstrated safety commitment.
• Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.
• Assist and support Lean initiatives within the department.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• As a team member, follow all safety, quality, plant GMP, and safe food handling rules.
• Flexible work schedule based upon project demands and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and assist the Management team to meet performance goals.
• Coordinate production requirements and ensure orders are processed with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Meet continuous improvement objectives and monitor team performance to address issues.
• Prepare shift manning schedules and track attendance, vacations, and holidays.
• Lead daily Tier 1 Shift production meetings and facilitate root-cause analysis.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering accountability and effective communication.
• Support and champion business decisions and escalate safety, quality, or productivity concerns.
