Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Dublin, GA is seeking a Shift Operations Manager to lead daily mill shifts, oversee safety, quality, production costs, and environmental controls. This role directs maintenance priorities and emergency response while ensuring employee relations and regulatory compliance.

The SOM will supervise shift staff, manage performance, plan workforce needs, and drive continuous improvement in operations with strong coaching and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Paper Science preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience and knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred.
