Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Shift Operations Manager to direct utility operations in our Wisconsin production facility.

You will oversee boilers, HVAC, water and wastewater systems, and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are met. Responsibilities include supervising utility staff, coordinating maintenance, driving Lean initiatives, and ensuring compliance with GMP, OSHA, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Agriculture or Business with 3–5 years' experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial utility systems (boilers, HVAC, water systems, wastewater).
• Experience with GMP, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and plant operations support.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate utility operations under plant leadership.
• Oversee boilers, compressed air, water and wastewater systems, HVAC, and facility infra.
• Monitor utility performance to support production.
• Plan and execute utility-related capital projects and maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors and outside service providers as needed.
• Ensure proper records, logs, inspections, and reports are completed.
• Lead safety meetings and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
