Job summary

Transdev is seeking an Operations Manager to act as the operations liaison for client programs and internal teams. The role supervises the daily activity of the Operations Supervisor, coaches staff, and drives process improvements across shifts.

Responsibilities include coordinating dispatch operations with the client, leading meetings, interpreting metrics, and ensuring compliance with standard processes. The role requires 21+ and the ability to travel up to 20% with 24/7 on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service area and map reading required.
• Ability to generate reports and schedules using computer systems.
• Ability to supervise others and make quality operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activity of the Operations Supervisor to ensure efficient shift operation.
• Drive special projects and programs as assigned by the SOM.
• Attend client meetings representing SOM or other managers.
• Communicate clearly with Transdev management and client stakeholders.
• Support dispatch operations and lead meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen and other operational excellence initiatives.
• Interpret metrics and drive corrective actions for results.
• Ensure compliance with global process standards and continuous improvement.
• Oversee driver safety evaluations and performance-based pay for subordinates.
