Job summary

Simplot seeks a Shift Operations Supervisor in Caldwell, ID to coordinate shift activities ensuring finished products meet target specs in a food-safe environment. You will drive operational efficiency, supervise hourly staff, and uphold safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

The role requires leadership, coaching, and development of employees, with a focus on process improvements and cross-functional collaboration across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of HACCP, safety practices, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activities to meet production targets in a food-safe environment.
• Review quality standards through continuous monitoring of finished product.
• Supervise hourly employees and manage assignments on the facility floor.
• Lead safety initiatives, CARE process participation, and incident prevention.
• Train employees on equipment operation, record-keeping, and communication.
• Support process improvements, lean manufacturing, and lean targets.
