Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Shift Operations Supervisor for the Grand Forks, ND facility. You will coordinate activities on each shift to produce finished products to target specs in a food-safe environment, driving efficiency and employee safety.

You will review quality standards, supervise hourly staff, ensure training, and implement process improvements. Leadership, delegation and coaching are key to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities on each shift to produce finished products at target specifications in a food safe environment.
• Review quality standards by monitoring finished products on all lines and execute processing standards.
• Supervise and coordinate work assignments for hourly employees to meet operational goals (quality, sanitation, food safety, employee safety).
• Lead, delegate, coach and develop subordinates to support training and career growth.
• Assist in safety practices and ensure CARE process participation by employees.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensure proper functioning of processing, packaging and analytical equipment.
• Support food safety and product quality standards and participate in cross-functional problem solving.

Education

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from 4-year college or university
