Job summary

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related industrial maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Industrial maintenance experience preferred, especially in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Plant Policies, Procedures and Union contracts are administered and followed fairly.
• Directs the loss control program to reduce injuries and losses and ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend and participate in training activities relevant to the position.
• Identify training needs of subordinates and reinforce skill development with coaching and feedback.
• Maintain awareness of new developments in equipment and processes for plant objectives.
• Recommend equipment, procedural, and facility modifications for efficient resource use.
• Direct maintenance functions to maximize operating efficiencies and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical services to ensure compliance with safety, quality, sanitation and environmental protection codes.
