Job summary
Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks an experienced Operations leader to facilitate project execution and lead tactical and long-term production processes. You will drive safety, quality, and performance while building a capable operations team and standardizing processes across shifts.
You will coach and develop staff, align activities with site goals, and ensure adherence to NNWay and business ethics in all decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or industry equivalent education & experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership/management/supervisory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical industries.
- Lean & Six Sigma strongly preferred; read/write and understand complicated product documentation and SOPs.
- Proven mentoring & staff development, change management, planning & organizing, managing execution & revising work plans for complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Drive a safe workplace culture, ensuring safety & environmental requirements are met.
- Drive project performance on the shift to meet business & stakeholder needs.
- Lead operational standardization & collaboration with other shift teams.
- Coach, develop & engage direct reports, focusing on NNWay essentials.
- Integrate quality & business ethics into decisions.
- Other accountabilities as assigned.
