Job summary

Novo Nordisk in North Carolina seeks an Operations leader to drive project execution and lead tactical and long‑term production processes. You will manage cost, quality, and schedule while building and maintaining an engaged operations team and promoting process improvements.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and standardization across shifts. Reports to the Senior Manager, Operations and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to achieve site goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or industry equivalent education & experience required.
• Minimum of five years leadership/management/supervisory experience, pharma preferred.
• Knowledgeable in API processes; Lean & Six Sigma preferred; strong business understanding.
• Proven mentoring, staff development, and change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive a safe workplace culture and meet safety/environmental requirements.
• Ensure robust processes to exceed quality objectives and specs.
• Drive project performance on the shift to meet business needs.
• Eliminate issues and simplify processes for efficiency.
• Align activities with lead time targets and site goals.
• Lead and mentor shift team members and manage personnel issues.
