Job summary

Prysmian Group in the United States is seeking a third shift Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate activities of key manufacturing functions. You will ensure production schedules are met and that equipment and staff operate efficiently to deliver high quality products.

The role requires strong supervision, project management, and a results-driven mindset to drive continuous improvement, reduce scrap, and maintain safe, productive operations on a fast-paced shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing supervision.
• Strong project management/supervision skills in a team-based environment.
• Strong manufacturing background; able to understand and develop appropriate product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision over hourly associates and coordinates with various other departments.
• Plan shift work and production for the shift using up-to-date process and equipment knowledge.
• Ensure associates have raw materials, instructions, machine availability, and training to meet production requirements.
• Observe associates for efficiency, safety, and quality; reduce scrap, usage, and waste.
• Keep shift records on attendance and overtime; handle first-step grievances within policy.
