Job summary

Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager-On-Duty to lead daily operations, manage staff, and uphold safety and brand standards across our car wash locations. You will resolve guest and team issues, ensure smooth shift transitions, and supervise opening/closing procedures.

The role emphasizes coaching and developing team members, training compliance, and maintaining a high-energy, customer-focused environment in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience.
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
• Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and recognize team members.
• Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability.
• Model company values and enforce policies and procedures.
• Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately.
• Rotate through focus areas: People & Staffing, Sales & Training, Operations & Tunnel.
