Job summary

Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, manage staffing, and uphold safety and service standards. The role focuses on developing teams, handling guest issues, and ensuring smooth shift transitions in a fast-paced car wash environment.

You’ll rotate through focus areas such as People, Sales, and Operations leadership, driving training, accountability, and brand compliance while delivering an outstanding guest experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or customer-service experience.
• Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
• High integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
• Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
• Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
• Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members.
• Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability.
• Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
• Scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance.
• Team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps.
• Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization.
