This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but it is a separate company from McDonald’s USA and the sole employer of employees at the restaurant. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing and scheduling.

Role Overview

The Shift Manager leads shifts each week, ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service. Responsibilities include shift planning, monitoring performance, maintaining quality, service and cleanliness standards, ensuring safety and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Compensation and Benefits

Managers in training can start at as much as $16.50/hour and can make $17.50 and above once certified.
