Steak ’n Shake Bourbonnais is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. You will ensure strong openings and closings, set the tone for the shift, and coach team members to deliver fast, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations.

You will maintain brand standards for cleanliness, food safety, and quality, handle opening/closing duties, and assist with training and onboarding while fostering a positive, respectful team

• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
