Job summary

MM RESTAURANT INC is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure service quality during your shift. You will create employee schedules, supervise front- and back-of-house tasks, and resolve issues to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has restaurant management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS/restaurant management software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage employees and assign duties as needed.
• Lead team in providing exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints gracefully and with tact.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reorder and restock when necessary.
• Cover the shifts of absent employees.
