Job summary

AES Restaurants is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and guide team members during shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining guest satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of management.

The ideal candidate excels in leadership, coaching, and high-pressure environments, with strong focus on service quality, safety, and cost controls. This role includes coordinating with the General Manager to achieve performance targets.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Able to work in warm and cold temperatures.
• Stand for 8–10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders for maintenance.
• Physical motions include bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and direction of team members during shifts.
• Ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accountability for operations during shifts when management is not present.
• Train and coach team members.
• Manage cash handling and inventory controls.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results.
