Job summary

Shake Shack Louisville is seeking a dedicated restaurant leader to oversee shift operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality and speed while guiding a high-performing team of hourly Team Members. You will participate in interviews and support employee relations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of leadership in a restaurant setting, hold Food Safety certification, and communicate effectively with both staff and guests.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
