Job summary

Bueno is seeking a Shift Leader to support daily restaurant operations and assist the General/Assistant Manager. You will help train and coach team members, ensure smooth shift execution, and deliver outstanding customer service to guests.

The role requires at least 1 year in QSR, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems and ServSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the QSR industry.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant environment.

Job Descriptions

Our Shift Leaders are the key to operating our restaurants daily. You will help support the General and/or Assistant Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You will also help team members through performance and training initiatives. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will keep our customers coming back for more.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
