Freebirds World Burrito in Texas seeks a Shift Leader to drive exceptional guest service and lead a high-energy team. You will mentor staff, uphold quality standards, and help grow our tribe as we expand locations. This role rewards leadership and a hands-on approach to fast-paced operations.

Formación

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Ability to train and mentor staff across positions.
• Must obtain a manager's food handlers certification after hire.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience
• Ability to work at a fast pace and high-volume workload
• Deliver crave-able food through recipe adherence and food quality standards
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures
• The ability to empower and mentor the Tribe
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must learn to cross-train in all positions
• Must get a manager's food handlers certification upon hire
• Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a retail environment.
• The ability to demonstrate our Values daily: Teamwork, Relentlessness, Integrity, Best in Class, and Empowerment

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
