Job summary

Freebirds World Burrito is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team, ensure quality, and deliver outstanding guest service in a high-volume environment.

You will mentor staff, enforce recipes and standards, and embody our Tribe values while supporting store operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and high-volume workload.
• Deliver crave-able food through recipe adherence and food quality standards.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• The ability to empower and mentor the Tribe.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must learn to cross-train in all positions.
• Must obtain a manager's food handlers certification upon hire.
• Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a retail environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk-in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
