Freebirds World Burrito in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shift Leader who can deliver exceptional guest service while guiding a fast-moving team. You thrive in a busy environment, foster a positive culture, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of food quality and service.

This role requires previous leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to train across all positions. You will handle cash procedures, learn to cross-train, and pursue a manager's food handlers

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience
• Ability to work at a fast pace and high-volume workload
• Deliver crave-able food through recipe adherence and food quality standards
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures
• The ability to empower and mentor the Tribe
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Must learn to cross-train in all positions
• Must get a manager's food handlers certification upon hire
• Able to withstand comfortably the physical demands of a retail environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift)
• Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use
• Use ladders occasionally
• Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk-in coolers/freezers
• Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams
