Job summary

Popeyes is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations in Sherman, TX. You will support the General/Assistant Manager, guide team members, and ensure guests receive high-quality service and on-time meals cooked with care.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a QSR, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Opportunities for advancement exist within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
• Knowledge of a POS system is preferred and ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the General and/or Assistant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Coach and train team members through performance initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to keep guests returning.
• Serve food with care, accuracy and Popeyes Cajun hospitality.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Our Shift Leaders are the key to operating our restaurants daily. You will help support the General and/or Assistant Manager, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You will also help team members through performance and training initiatives. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will keep our customers coming back for more. The perfect candidate will deliver food to guests that is perfectly cooked, made with love, and served with Popeyes®' famous Cajun Hospitality.

What You'll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
