Subway is hiring a Shift Manager in Ohio. You will focus on guest experience, food quality, restaurant upkeep, inventory control, and staff scheduling. You’ll also cascade training to Sandwich Artists and supervise daily operations across shifts.

As part of the Subway team, you’ll gain hands-on restaurant experience and contribute to a clean, functional, and welcoming store environment in Minford, OH.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide an excellent guest experience.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Inventory control and paperwork completion.
• Operate the Point of Sale system and assist during shift.
• Train Sandwich Artists on responsibilities and standards.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standardsEnsuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
