Job summary

Fulenwider Group in Miami Gardens, FL is looking for a Shift Manager for our KFC and Taco Bell location. You’ll be the captain of the shift, supervise crew members, ensure smooth operations, and deliver friendly, efficient customer service while upholding brand standards.

You should be ready to lead by example, communicate clearly, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and handle cash, inventory, and shift reports.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or fast-food experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shift: oversee all aspects of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Team Leadership: motivate and guide your team to deliver exceptional service. Foster a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
• Customer Service: interact with customers, take orders, and ensure their dining experience is memorable. Address any concerns promptly and professionally.
• Food Safety: maintain high food safety standards. Monitor food preparation, storage, and handling to prevent any health risks.
• Cash Handling: handle cash registers, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Inventory Management: keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation.
• Shift Reports: prepare shift reports, including sales, labor costs, and any incidents that occurred during your shift.
• Training: train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
• Problem-Solving: handle unexpected situations, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Cleanliness: ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Promotions and Specials: assist in promoting new menu items, deals, and promotions to drive sales.
