Job summary

Auntie Anne's & Cinnabon in California is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, oversee the bakery and pretzel shop, and keep the team energized while ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will manage opening/closing, maintain quality, service, safety, and inventory, and develop staff during shifts. Flexible scheduling offered; prior supervisory experience preferred.

As a Shift Manager, you're more than a supervisor—you're the heartbeat of the bakery and pretzel shop. When the General Manager or Assistant Manager is away, you keep operations running smoothly, the team energized, and guests leaving happy and satisfied.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• TB clearance required (if applicable by location)
• 0–1 year of food service, bakery, or retail experience
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift
• Comfortable working in warm and cold environments (ovens, prep areas, walk-ins)
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS systems)
• Ability to taste-test products for quality assurance
• Cash handling and customer service experience a plus
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology
• General knowledge of food service, bakery, or quick-service restaurant operations is a bonus
