Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness for customers.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to assist in shift preparation. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping assigned departments achieve their goals.
